My Site Has SEO – I Bought It That Way

Chances are, you don’t know enough about SEO – that’s Search Engine Optimization for those of you who really need some help.  Just like social media, there’s an insane amount of SEO information online and lots of training resources that are altogether extremely unhelpful and sometimes even misleading.

Last week, I attended an SEO Open House event hosted by Buzzhound Learning Lab. Instead of keeping their well-honed skills and SEO trade secrets under wraps, Buzzhound wants to share their knowledge and expertise in SEO so that people can be more educated about this topic. Considering that Google updates their SEO algorithms 400 times in a year, and there’s over 113 billion searches a month, this is a good thing.

The Open House was essentially an overview of what Buzzhound covers in their One Day SEO Training Program, which they offer from 9 am to 3 pm every Friday. Introductory pricing varies from $545-695, depending on the number of people signed up at your company, advance sign-ups and status as a student or professional. The classes are limited to 10 people so the student to teacher ratio is nice and low at 5:1. Each student has their own laptop provided for them, and the instructors guide everyone through a hands-on SEO course, including competitive analysis, keyword research and critiquing one’s own site to see where they may have gone wrong with their SEO and how to fix it.

Buzzhound was started by Mooslyvania‘s Norty Cohen and Greg Meyerkord. Courses are taught by Shelly Wolfe and Erin Steinbruegge. Seeing Shelly, Erin and Greg in action during the Open House convinced me that they know more than a thing or two about this SEO stuff.  And because they’re fans of AdSaint and just cool people all around, we have a handful of $100 off coupons so that you fine readers have an opportunity to improve organic searches on your own web sites by attending an SEO Training Program yourselves.

So – email us at adsaint@mercury-inc.com to tell us why you need SEO training, and we’ll start passing out the coupons!
