Account Executive- Schupp Company

Reports to: Account Supervisor (ASUP) or as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

1. B.A./B.S. degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field.

2. Minimum of 3 year and no more than 5 years experience in advertising, promotion and/or another related marketing position.

3. AE must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills as well as exceptional verbal and written skills, leadership ability and strong ambition for professional development.

4. Preference will be given to candidates possessing Adult Beverage category experience and/or experience working in a bar or restaurant.

Position Summary:

This position is required to manage and lead the day-to-day execution responsibilities associated with MillerCoors promotions. The AE serves as the primary liaison between the Client and Schupp Co. on matters related to the tactical development for their designated projects.

Specific Job Duties:

1. Responsible for supporting the development of promotional plans and driving flawless execution. This includes managing and executing, with support from AC, all tasks and deliverables associated with the Retail Activation Process.

2. Assists SAE/ASUP in development of program and channel strategies.

3. Coordinates the development of channel solutions along with SAE/ASUP. Work with internal creative, SAE/ASUP to develop a recommended line-up. Ensure all line-up documents are completed correctly.

4. Develops project briefs and leads, along with SAE/ASUP, the creative briefing process for channel tactics.

5. Evaluates all creative, ensuring it delivers on the brief and client objectives. Manage internal coordination of review and approval of all creative.

6. Assembles estimates (when appropriate) and works with Sr. AE/ASUP and Project Management to obtain input and approval.

7. Responsible for reviewing monthly job progress reports and initiates billing when appropriate by notifying Accounting. Reviews all costs and hours and alerts the Sr. AE/ASUP of any variances. Ensures all back-up materials are in proper order.

8. Maintains and develops relationships with key clients as assigned. Includes, but is not limited to: responding to client requests effectively and quickly; presenting creative and POVs when appropriate; attending client status meetings and presents program updates.

9. Manages/maximizes the limited resources of the AC. Provide training and day-to-day supervision.

10. Demonstrates growth in understanding of client’s business, industry and marketing needs.

11. Shares industry news and trends with team such as social media updates, innovations, competitive activity and consumer trends.

12. Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor (i.e., industry/category research, sourcing materials/data for presentations
