Junior Art Director- Group360 Worldwide

 

The Art Director’s primary role is to produce graphic and/or digital, solutions to address visual communications needs. The AD must have the proven ability to translate marketing strategies, project parameters and a thorough understanding of design into appealing comprehensive concepts that communicate the desired message to the target audience. The AD draws on key design principles and practices to compose with illustrative, photographic and typographic materials in a usable, appropriate manner. He or she must be able to share the rationale for design decisions to team members, clients and vendors in an engaging way. The AD must be highly imaginative yet practical.; a self starter, yet someone who recognizes and supports the clients’ and company’s preferences and priorities. The AD should be willing to help others, have strong interpersonal skills and get along well with diverse personalities, even under deadline pressures and stressful situations. He or she must be flexible and resilient, eager to take professional criticism and learn from it.

• Produce visual communications in a timely manner for promotions, ads, packaging, signage, basic websites, informational materials and more.
• Conceptual thinking; play an active role in brainstorming and ideation
• Quick grasp of marketing strategies
• Great attitude and willingness to work hard
• Responsive and efficient; ability to organize and manage multiple projects

Requirements:
• Knowledge of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, branding, typography and color theory
• 2-4 years work experience in field
• Bachelor’s Degree in design art or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in current CS5 Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design
• An understanding of new media, animation, sound, text and video is a plus
