Marketing Associate- Nestle Purina
POSITION SUMMARY:
Entry level Branded Marketing role, with career progressing to Brand Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Marketing Plan ‘ Participate in development of marketing plan and contribute to objectives, strategies and tactics.
* Promotions and Packaging ‘ Assist in execution of promotional programs/calendar. Manage Coupon/Catalina and Customer Relationship Marketing. Analyze promotional programs to maximize effectiveness/efficiency and make on-going recommendations for improvements to programs. Manage packaging changes due to product, graphic or formula changes.
* Budget and forecast tracking ‘ assist in management of brand budgets. maintain packaging and product forecast. Monitor inventory. Monitor A&P expenditures vs. budget.
* Market Analysis ‘ Track brand sales performance ($ shares/$ sales). Analyze A.C. Nielson data. Recommend changes/improvements based on business analysis and competitive activity. Analyze business Performance to identify issues and/or opportunities. Analyze competition to determine impact on business. Analyze topical business issues as needed. Participate in qualitative and quantitative marketing research.
* Trade Communications ‘ Develop customer presentations. Participate in development of Playbook. Communicate updates to promotional/trade calendars. Plan and execute merchandising events/retail Tools/point of sale displays.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
MBA or a Master’s in Marketing with a minimum of a Brand Management Internship or 1 year of professional experience with Consumer Products Goods.
