Production Intern – Mercury Labs
Mercury Labs, a creative agency focused on the science of cinema and communications, is looking for a production intern for the summer of 2012.
If it moves and is on a screen, it’s Mercury’s scientific specialty. Say the words movie, motion, cinema, film, video, online video, and we’re on it. Our specialties include: brand channels, brand videos, broadcast media (PSAs, B-roll, VNRs, etc), commercials, company demos, corporate documentaries, customer testimonial videos, direct mail DVDs, event video (including those played at trade shows, fundraisers), internal communications video, new business presentation, online social media channel, out-of-home digital video, product demos, sizzle reels (also known as program highlights), television programs, television promos and training/instructional videos.
Intern Position/Title: Production/Post-production Assistant
Description of Internship and Duties: Assist in the production and post-production of various client projects. Duties include the following: Preparing set for shoot, assisting in camera and sound set-up, maintaining video library, music and stock footage libraries, reviewing and digitizing footage and clips.
Eligibility and Skill Requirements: Intern needs basic familiarity on set. An understanding and a basic skill level with Final Cut Pro and Avid a plus.
This internship is for credit; 14-16 hours per week.
