Senior Digital Art Director
This position is primarily responsible for developing and executing creative concepts for websites, microsites, online advertising, social media, mobile apps and more. Preference will be given to candidates whose design skills enable them to execute at a high level in both online and offline projects.
Specifically, 4ORCE‘s new Senior Digital Art Director will:
> Conceptualize and create effective interaction design and leading-edge user experience for websites, mobile and online media
> Apply brand systems, typography, photography, color and other elements to produce exceptional digital experiences that meet client and user needs
> Have experience in designing from wireframes and the knowledge to produce usable designs when working without them
> Collaborate closely with other creatives, digital strategists, user experience specialists, project managers and the client services team
> Follow projects through from conception to launch, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
> Be knowledgeable about web standards and an evangelist for their application
Beyond being an exceptional talent, the right candidate will have:
> 5+ years of agency or industry experience
> A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent work experience
> A portfolio demonstrating premium interactive design skills
> A deep understanding of design patterns and impact of design decisions on how a concept is implemented using standards-compliant XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
> Expert knowledge of the tools of the trade: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Keynote on Mac OS (a working knowledge of Flash is a plus)
> Experience with rich media, AfterEffects
> The ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
> Communication skills that enable clear articulation and presentation of creative concepts as well as close collaboration with others in the agency
> Self-motivation to stay abreast of trends and emerging best practices in interactive design
> The ability to take ownership of a project and see it through to completion
