Special Events and Marketing Assistant – (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:

Support position for the Special Events department, which is involved with planning and producing fundraising events, public events and donor recognition events. Also provide limited support to the Director of Marketing and Audience Research Manager with billing, data collection, data analysis and limited project management. Job duties would include, but are not limited to, data entry, preparing meeting agendas, minutes and reports, coordinating volunteer event support, limited event management and other clerical and administrative functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor ’ s degree preferred. Strong administrative, verbal, written, math and organizational skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly EXCEL. Must be self-starter, capable of working under pressure, handle multiple tasks and manage priorities. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for 50 yards, stand and walk for extended periods of time and be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. Consideration given to candidates with some event planning experience. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
