Position Accountabilities
Assures the execution and production of attractive and functional design that meets the style guides for each brand as set by the Art Director.
Assures interactive solutions that appeal to the target market and meet D2C’s E-Commerce objectives.
Assures collaboration with Marketing, Merchandising, IS, and Creative teams to conceptualize and design online promotions and special E-Commerce projects in a timely manner.
Assures interactive execution that supports D2C’s positioning and sales plan, creating a satisfying and seamless customer experience that is on par with accepted industry standards.
Position Essential Functions
Strategically designs and produces promotional elements and emails in accordance with brand style guidelines, incorporating best practices in website design and usability
Leads requirements development for strategic projects involving site navigation, usability and customer experience improvements
Designs creative website and email concepts, leveraging store/brand creative assets (look, tone, manner) for consistency with all advertising
Researches brand competitive environment and stays current with new initiatives and techniques used by leading multi-channel retailers
Participates as a member of D2C E-Commerce and Creative teams
Prototypes and implements designs using Photoshop/HTML/CSS/JS/Flash as needed
Completes all tasks within the alloted timeframe keeping all projects on schedule
Position Specifications
Educational Preference:
Degree in Graphic Design, Electronic Media or any related Art Degree
Job Experience:
Some experience in Web Design with multi-channel or internet retail websites
Some experience translating business and creative strategies into most effective online execution preferred.
Skills:
Ability to communicate thoughts and creative concepts to clients and management—both technical and non-technical
Ability to problem solve by identifying issues and finding alternative solutions
Ability to design web elements with the development process in mind
