STL Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired Gets a New Look!
The St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired is getting a new logo to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The society provides programs and services for the blind and visually impaired along with their families, in the St. Louis and Southern Illinois area.
The new logo was designed by the Schupp Company, and gives a bold look to the society while keeping some of the design from the previous logo.
“The society was very appreciative of the Schupp Company’s pro bono commitmement and their creative execution,” says David Ekin, President of the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The new design uses yellow gold and royal blue and incorporates meaningful symbols to the St. Louis area. The Gateway Arch along with the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers are prominent features on the logo.
To celebrate their new look, the society plans to showcase the logo at their upcoming dinner, “Guess the Grape.” The event includes blind wine tasting and food pairing and will take place on October 23, 2010. For more information on the event, please check out their website.
The new logo was made to represent a full century of service and the society’s hopes for a promising future.
